Everyone starts in Levelbal. Placement games and your first ranked wins move you up quickly; the higher tiers are a small fraction of the ladder.
Elo distribution
Every ranked player, bucketed by Elo. Over half sit at the starting rating (1000–1024) — most accounts play their placement games and stop — so the ladder above that is a small, steep tail. Bars use a square-root scale so the smaller bands stay visible.

How Elo moves
- Finishing 1st–2nd gains Elo; 3rd–4th is roughly neutral; 5th–8th loses Elo. The exact amount scales with the average Elo of the lobby — beating higher-rated players is worth more.
- Consistent top-four finishes climb the ladder steadily. Chasing 1st every game and bottom-fouring half of them does not.
- Games that end before stage 10, and bot-only lobbies, are not counted.
- The placement-equity mindset from the guide's advanced track is exactly what the Elo formula rewards.
