1. What's a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website can ask your browser to store, so the site (or a third party embedded in it, like an ad network) can recognize your browser later — for example, to remember a preference, keep you logged in, or show relevant ads. "Similar technologies" (local storage, pixels, device identifiers) work for comparable purposes and are covered by this policy too.
2. Cookies set by this site itself
None. Pokémon Auto Chess Wiki has no accounts, no login, and no server-side tracking of visitors, so we don't set any first-party cookies of our own. Your language choice, search terms, and the Pokémon you're comparing all live in the page's URL, not in a cookie.
3. Cookies set by advertising (Google AdSense)
We show ads through Google AdSense to help cover hosting costs. To do that, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies such as (this list reflects Google's own documented advertising cookies and may change on their end without notice to us):

4. Consent for personalized ads (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
Where legally required, this site uses a consent management platform (Google's Funding Choices) to ask visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland for permission before any personalized-advertising cookie is set. If you don't consent, Google can still show non-personalized ads (which don't rely on your browsing history) instead — the site is still funded, you just see less-targeted ads. Outside those regions, applicable local law may not require an upfront prompt, but the opt-out tools in Section 5 below still work everywhere.
5. How to control or delete cookies
- On this site: if a consent banner is shown, you can change your choice from it at any time (usually via a small "privacy" or "cookie settings" control it adds to the page).
- Google's own controls: Google Ads Settings lets you turn ad personalization off directly.
- Industry-wide opt-outs: aboutads.info (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU) let you opt out of personalized ads from many ad companies at once.
- Your browser: every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies globally or per-site, in its privacy/settings menu. Since this site sets no cookies of its own, blocking cookies entirely will not break anything on pokemon-auto-chess-fans.com — you'll simply stop seeing personalized ads.

If we ever add our own first-party cookies (for example, to remember a display preference) or a new analytics tool, we'll list it here and update the "Last updated" date above.
